Artist to be announced
New Museum Triennial, US
October 2026 - January 2027
Founded in 1977, the New Museum is New York’s leading institution devoted exclusively to contemporary art. Its Triennial is the only recurring exhibition in the city to focus on emerging artists from around the world. The sixth edition, co-curated by Vivian Crockett and Isabella Rjeille, will be the first held in the Museum’s new OMA-designed building, welcoming over 150,000 visitors and presenting many artists in their first major US museum exhibition.
This project was aided by a research trip to Vienna by the curator Vivian Crockett, organised by Phileas in March 2024.
