Cornelius Tittel began his journalistic career in 1998 at Groove, a magazine focused on electronic music and club culture. Starting in 2000, he hosted the Jazzanova Radio Show for three years on RBB, WDR, and Radio Bremen. In 2003, he joined the culture section of the daily newspaper taz. From 2004 to 2006, he worked as a culture editor at Welt am Sonntag. In 2007, Florian Illies appointed him editor-in-chief of the art magazine Monopol. In 2010, Tittel returned to Axel Springer SE, where he became head of the feuilleton and deputy editor-in-chief of the WELT Group. Since April 2015, he has been the founding editor-in-chief of BLAU INTERNATIONAL as well as Creative Director of Die Welt and Welt am Sonntag. Since 2020, BLAU INTERNATIONAL has been published twice a year in English
