Monika Georgieva

Independent curator, Vienna

Monika Georgieva is an independent curator based in Vienna. She is an alumna and fellow of the de Appel Curatorial Programme in Amsterdam. In 2020, she co-founded Laurenz, an independent exhibition space in Vienna focused on artistic experimentation and discourse, which she has been co-running since then. Monika is a guest lecturer at the University of Applied Arts Vienna and the Vienna University of Technology. From 2023 to 2025, she served as the Director of Exhibitions at Kunstverein Eisenstadt.

Monika Georgieva will visit Norway on a curatorial exchange with OCA Norway in November 2025.
