Lisa Ortner-Kreil is an art historian and literary scholar. From 2013 to 2025, she served as Associate Curator at Kunstforum Wien (AT), where she organised major exhibitions including Gerhard Richter: Landscape (2020/21, in cooperation with Kunsthaus Zürich), Kiki Kogelnik: Now Is the Time (2023/24, in cooperation with Kunstmuseum Brandts and Kunsthaus Zürich), and Anton Corbijn: Favourite Darkness (2025). Since 2026, she has been curator at Kunstmeile Krems (AT), where she is responsible for the strategic development and implementation of contemporary art exhibitions across multiple institutions. Previous positions include the Albertina, Vienna (AT), and the Royal Museum of Fine Arts, Brussels (BE). She holds a PhD from the University of Vienna (AT).

Lisa Ortner-Kreil will visit Spain on a curatorial exchange with Catapulta in March 2026.
