Senior Scientist and Curator
Robert Müller is an artist living and working in Vienna (AT) and Berlin (DE). Since 2015, he has been programming the exhibition series Nousmoules, spanning Vienna and Berlin. From 2021 to 2022, he worked as a curator for Kunstverein Nürnberg – Albrecht-Dürer-Gesellschaft (DE), and since 2022, he has served as curator and senior scientist for Collection and Archive at the University of Applied Arts Vienna (AT). Müller has curated numerous exhibitions for the Angewandte University Gallery, Heiligenkreuzerhof, Vienna (AT), including: Fernheilung (Distant Healing). The 1980s and early 1990s through a distorted lens (in dialogue with Helmut Draxler) 2025; Moscow Material. Margarete Schütte-Lihotzky’s Designs for Children’s Furniture, 2025 ; Ins Dunkle Schwimmen (Swimming into Darkness). Abysses of the Creative Imperative (with Cosima Rainer), 2024; Lill Tschudi – Franz Čižek. A delightful sort of game (with Stefanie Kitzberger,) 2023; Friedl Dicker-Brandeis. Workshops for visual arts (with Stefanie Kitzberger and Cosima Rainer) 2022; and Schule Oberhuber. A collection as a program (with Cosima Rainer), 2022.
Robert Müller will visit Spain on a curatorial exchange with Catapulta in March 2026.
