Dr. Astrid Peterle, curator and author, since October 2025 chief curator of Museumsquartier Vienna. From 2022 to September 2025 she worked as the Head of the Curatorial Department at the Kunsthalle Wien. Previously she worked from 2010 to 2022 at the Jewish Museum Vienna, 2018 to 2022 as chief curator. From 2017 to 2022 curator for performance at the Donaufestival Krems. Studied history and art history in Vienna, Berlin and New York; PhD in 2009. She is curator and author of numerous exhibitions and articles on contemporary art and Viennese cultural history, with a particular focus on performance art, choreography, film, photography and feminist art practice.

Astrid Peterle will visit Norway on a curatorial exchange with OCA Norway in November 2025.
