Clémentine Proby is a curator and writer. Her practice focuses on contemporary art through exhibitions, commissions, and writing, often developed in close collaboration with artists and across institutional and independent contexts.

Proby is currently Curator at Spike Island, Bristol (UK). She previously worked at Mudam Luxembourg (LUX), where she collaborated with artists including Cosima von Bonin, Bárbara Sánchez-Kane, Motoko Ishibashi, James Richards and Billy Bultheel, Sung Tieu, and Jean-Charles de Quillacq. She has also worked with the British Pavilion at the 59th Venice Biennale, Venice (ITA); Chisenhale Art Studios, London (UK); Fondation Louis Vuitton, Paris (FRA); and UNESCO, Paris (FRA). In 2019, she co-founded Maison Touchard, a curatorial platform hosted in domestic spaces. She holds master’s degrees from Sciences Po, Paris (FRA), and Goldsmiths, University of London (UK).

Clémentine Proby is visiting Vienna on a group research trip in September 2026.
