Catalina Lozano is chief curator at Artium Museoa, Vitoria-Gasteiz (ES), where her research focuses on colonial narratives and deconstructing the nature–culture divide. She has organised solo exhibitions by Jutta Koether, Julia Spínola, Joëlle Tuerlinckx, and Patricia Dauder, as well as group shows including Looking through a circle in a circle of looks. Her recent curatorial projects include Until the Songs Spring for the Mexican Pavilion at the Venice Biennale (IT, 2021); A Natural History of Ruins at Pivô, São Paulo (BR, 2021); The willow sees the heron’s image upside down at TEA, Tenerife (ES, 2020); and Le jour des esprits et notre nuit at CRAC Alsace (FR, 2019). Previously, Lozano was director of programs in Latin America at KADIST, Paris (FR, 2020–2022) and associate curator at Museo Jumex, Mexico City, (MX, 2017–2019), developing exhibitions with artists such as Bárbara Wagner & Benjamin de Burca, Fernanda Gomes, and Xavier Le Roy. She was also part of the artistic team for the 8th Berlin Biennale (DE, 2014).

Catalina Lozano will visit Austria on a curatorial exchange with Catapulta in March 2026.
